The Club normally runs at least 3 Field Trials each season to include one 2-day Open Field Trial, with the winner qualifying for a place at the annual International Gundog League Championship, and a mixture of Novice and All Aged Field Trials.

In 2026/27, the Club's 2-day Open Qualifying Stake will be at Ampton Estate on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd October 2026 and a Novice Walked-Up Stake, also at Ampton Estate, will take place on Tuesday 12th January 2027.  One further Novice Stake will also take place this season but we are still awaiting confirmation from the landowner/gamekeeper.  It is likely to be in either November or December 2026 but details will be sent to members as soon as they are known.
